Anastasia Markidou is an associate professor at The Department Of Photography and Audiovisual Arts (School of Applied Arts and Culture, University of West Attica). She holds a PhD in History and Aesthetics of Photography (University of Westminster, United Kingdom). Her work has been presented in both solo and group exhibitions, in Greece and abroad. She works as an independent curator and editor.
Her publications include the monograph Constructions (2009) and Photography: Critical Readings (2015).
