Fotis Kangelaris is a Doctor of Psychopathology at the University of Paris. He has written books of scientific and philosophical content as well as literary books.
He is President of the “Society for the Study of Cultural Otherness” and he possesses the largest collection of ritual masks in the world on the subject of the relationship between psychopathology and anthropology.
His interests focus on psychoanalysis and the philosophy of the Image with an emphasis on Photography, as well as the relationship between Art and Psychopathology.
He has given a large number of lectures, broadcasts on radio and television and contributed to a large number of conferences and collective volumes. He curates exhibitions and organizes book presentations, theater reviews, seminars on Photography, Image and Art.
